What is NAD+?
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is a coenzyme found in every living cell. It acts as an essential cofactor — one of the compounds required for the activity of enzymes, the molecular machines that carry out biological processes. First identified in 1906, NAD+ has been the subject of renewed research interest for its role in cellular energy metabolism and repair.
NAD+ levels are understood to decline with age. Research into what that means, and into whether supplementation changes anything meaningful, is ongoing and not settled.
What Patients Use NAD+ For
Patients typically come to us interested in supporting everyday energy, focus, post-exercise recovery, or general cellular health as part of a broader wellness plan. Responses vary considerably from one person to the next, and some patients notice no change at all.
NAD+ is not a treatment for any disease, and we will not tell you it is. What it may do — and whether it is a reasonable thing for you to try — is a conversation to have with your provider, based on your health history and goals.
How NAD+ Is Provided
NAD+ is provided as an in-office injection, administered here by our clinical team.
Administered here, by us. The NAD+ we keep in the office is prepared by a 503B outsourcing facility — an FDA-registered compounder that produces under current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards and is subject to FDA inspection. Pricing for in-office injections is published below.
NAD+ is administered only after an evaluation, using medication from an FDA-registered source. We strongly advise against purchasing injectables online from unregulated sources.

These are the prices for an injection administered in our office. There is no membership fee and no contract.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who should not take NAD+?
NAD+ is not appropriate for individuals with a history of cancer or who are currently undergoing cancer treatment, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or individuals with severe liver, kidney, or cardiovascular disease or bleeding disorders. Your provider will review your history with you before recommending anything.
What are the side effects?
NAD+ is generally well tolerated, but like any treatment it can have side effects. Possible reactions include nausea, temporary fatigue, headache, cramping, and redness, tenderness, or swelling at the injection site. Discuss any symptoms or concerns with your clinician.
Can I do my injections at home?
No. NAD+ injections are administered in our office by our clinical team. We do not prescribe NAD+ for home use.
How is NAD+ different from oral supplements?
They are absorbed differently, and many over-the-counter oral products contain NAD+ precursors rather than NAD+ itself. Your provider can discuss the differences with you, and whether either is a reasonable option given your situation.
